Alexander leads the United Nations Development Programme’s global AI strategy, including the G7 AI Hub for Sustainable Development. His work focuses on developing national AI strategies, promoting global AI equity, and advocating for inclusive AI development that serves the Global South.

At Columbia, his MA in Global Thought research explored the relationship between artificial intelligence and populist movements through a social psychology lens. Before joining UNDP, he worked across healthcare innovation, digital transformation, and AI governance, advising organizations on responsible technology deployment. He holds a BSc from the London School of Economics.
