Governments around the world are turning to content creators to share trusted information about health care, voting, and public services, especially with young audiences. In New York City, that practice has expanded under Mayor Mamdani.

Join the Committee on Global Thought for our lunchtime seminar series, featuring a discussion of Mapping New York City Influencers and Funding of Public Messaging, a working paper by Anya Schiffrin, a senior lecturer in the discipline of international and public affairs and faculty co-director of the Technology Policy and Innovation (TPI) concentration at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Anya will present her findings, then open the floor for discussion and Q&A.

Lunch will be served.
